Veydra 1.2x PL to PL Expander
Use Vintage Zoom Lenses on 6K Cameras | Make Digital Images Look Filmic
Many of the popular zoom lenses from the days of the Academy format will not work with the Super 35 and larger sensor cameras. Veydra is giving those vintage lenses along with the 24-290 T2.8 Optimo a new lease on life.
The Veydra 1.2x PL to PL Expander (exclusive world wide distribution by Manios Digital & Film) makes it possible to use zoom lenses designed for Academy format 27.2mm image circle (pre-Super 35) cameras and give them new life by expanding the image circle of the older vintage zoom lenses to 34mm diagonal, with only ½ stop light loss. This will allow for coverage of RED’s Epic Dragon as well as other PL mounted digital cameras that have a sensor larger than the Academy aperture and up to a 34mm image circle.
Cinematographers can once again use their favorite vintage zoom lenses and recapture the classic film looks of yesteryear.
