Lambda 50 Third Axis

The Lambda 50 Fluid Head employs the patented CARTONI fluid drag control system on both pan and tilt modes. In order to obtain the 3rd Axis rotation, the Lambda features the 3rd accessory comprising an additional fluid drag system with 7 steps + "0".

The Award winning LAMBDA Nodal Head is the only Support that allows to set the nodal position with any Camera and pivoting 360° on the focal plan of any Camera.

The settings are achieved by graduated slides both horizontally and ver cally with micrometric cranks for extreme precision. A smart system of orientable counterweight rods can be used when the slide run is not su cient.

The LAMBDA 50 Head can be mounted on any classic support as Tripods or Dollies or used in underslung position from Cranes and Jib arms.

Optional accessories as 3rd Axis, the orientable pan bar, steering wheel, eyepiece holder and the counterweight rods complete the most versatile of supports.

As the entry-level member of the CARTONI Nodal Heads the LAMBDA 10 replicates all the features of the classic LAMBDA for a perfect Camera setting at any angle.

Two patented Fluid 3 steps modules smoothly assist all Pan and Tilt movements. The LAMBDA 10 can be mounted on any 100mm bowl Tripod or base and is ideal for underslung use on Jib arms, Cranes, as well as for table top work or medical documentaries. The LAMBDA 10 matches perfectly with the CARTONI JibO.

Maxima 40 Head for cine style with cine style sliding plate, pan bar, short handle

CARTONI introduces Maxima 40, an innovative compact design Fluid Action Head featuring an amazingly smooth patented counterbalance system. The Maxima 40 is the ideal support for all fully equipped Film Cameras and sophisticated broadcast packages.

The Maxima 40 controls, knobs and levers, are ergonomically placed to ensure camera operators complete ease-of-use in any situation, whether in the studio, location or during outside broadcasts while drag and counterbalance steps are monitored on a digital display.

Payload capacity goes from zero (0) to 40 Kg (88 lbs) with a perfect balance throughout the entire 180° tilt range.
The specifically designed continuous Fluid Drag System performs from almost freewheeling to extremely consistent drag for maximum versatility.

The large sliding camera plate is compatible with Arri and O'Connor slides for increased versatility and ease.
Extremely rugged and precise, the Maxima 40 is meant to become the ultimate industry standard.

Maxima 30 Head, standard cine style sliding plate, pan bar, 90° front pan bar

The MAXIMA 30 Flat Base Fluid Head from Cartoni includes all the advantages of the Cartoni MAXIMA Fluid Head, but in a compact size. The pan and tilt fluid movements are smooth with progression, going from almost freewheeling to an extremely consistent maximum drag. The wing counterbalance will assist any camera with payloads ranging from 7 to 66 lb with a smooth response throughout the entire ±90° range and can reach up to 88 lb at 100mm CG.

For ease of use, the digital read-out indicates counterbalance, pan and tilt fluid settings at a glance. The head also features an illuminated bubble level. To make the MAXIMA 30 user friendly, the pan and tilt brakes are both placed on the left side of the head, as well as the camera plate latch, which can be activated with one hand to disengage the safety lock and free the camera plate completely.

The camera plate stage accepts all industry standard plates as ARRI, RED, and more, with a sliding run of 140mm. It also features four rosettes attachment for pan bars. The standard configuration comes with right telescopic pan bar and a left front pan handle.
